Vehicle Information & Registration Your truck must be registered in CARB’s Clean Truck Check (CTC) online system with updated owner and vehicle details.

Annual Compliance Fee Payment Each vehicle must have its yearly CARB fee paid before testing can be submitted.

OBD or Emissions Test Depending on the truck’s year and engine type, you’ll need an OBD scan or a smoke/emissions test to show the engine and after-treatment system are working correctly.
